Bacterium in undercooked chicken causes paralysis: Study US researchers have identified a bacterium, commonly found in undercooked chicken, that may cause Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). GBS is an autoimmune disorder and is the world’s leading cause of acute neuromuscular paralysis in humans.
