Chronic infections, smoking and pollution have contributed to skyrocketing cases of cancer in China, with an estimated 4.3 million new diagnoses last year and 2.8 million deaths, claim researchers. Xiaomi has finally released a stable Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI software update for select smartphones. The rollout, which is currently underway only in China, is available for Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 4 smartphones, the company announced on a blog post. Specifically, this is the China ROM for the handsets, and the global ROM (which also features Google Mobile Services) is expected to be released soon.
