World warmer by 1.2 degrees, 2016 warmest year ever: WMO
The World Metrological Organisation (WMO) on Monday said the global temperature is 1.2 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial level and will set a new high for the third year running. It also said 2016 is the hottest year on record, 2015 the second hottest and 2014 in the third place. “Another year.
