Sailing and skiing, Grand Baie: This coastal village, located in Riviere du Rempart District with its emerald water and white sand beaches is perfect for water skiing and sailing. Grand Baie is considered an ideal starting point to explore the northern coast on a sailing yacht.

Scuba Diving: The warm and clear waters of the Indian Ocean, Coral gardens, reefs, dramatic walls and wrecks, Grand Baie is one of the best diving areas in Mauritius.

Rhumeri: The road leading to the Rhumerie is lined with vast plantations of sugar cane growing side by side with pineapples and other tropical fruits..and the best part – all the beautiful sugarcane is turned into rum, and you get to taste the magic.

Port Loius Shopping: If you want to have a glimpse of Mauritian life, go to the Port-Louis Market. It has varieties of exotic food, fruits and clothes! Along with value for money articles imported from India,China or Made in Malaysia. Either way, the hawkers give you choices to last for a whole lifetime.

La Vanille Reserve: The “Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes” nature park, apart from its Aldabra tortoises, Nile crocodiles, is also known for still keeping a feeling of “old Mauritius” alive. A must visit.

Crocodile feeding and eating: La Vanille doesn’t only let you pet, play and feed tortoise, but also gives you a chance to feed the beasts-crocodiles. Crocodiles are not only majestic in their own way but also delicious. The Hungry Crocodile Restaurant serves some of the most delightful Malaysian dishes along with some made with croc meat.

Underwater walk: You have to do the underwater walk when in Mauritius. A great choice for all non divers, it’s a safe and fascinating underwater walk on the ocean bed allowing you to witness everything that’s not up there, where you live !
