“Nobody wants to hear about your New Year’s resolutions. And with our new menu shortcuts nobody will have to (because your mouth will be full). Meet our new #keto, #Whole30, #paleo and #highprotein bowls.”

It is the Chipotle resolution tweet already echoing through 2019. Keto. Paleo. Whole30. Finding a restaurant offering specific dietary needs can be difficult with ingredient restrictions. Fast-casual giant Chipotle has answered with new menu items designed to bring all three diet options to diners. The new list of menu items makes ordering easier: Instead of having to specify restrictions, diners can instead just ask for one of the four new Chipotle Lifestyle menu options.

Billed by the restaurant as “ready-to-eat bowls that fit your lifestyle,” each bowl answers the rule restrictions of current trending diet plans. Offerings grouped as “Lifestyle Bowls” include a Whole30 salad bowl with carnitas, fajita veggies, salsa and guac answering Whole30’s removal of sugar, grains, legumes (no beans) and dairy. The Paleo bowl features barbacoa and green salsa while the new fat-burning Keto bowl subs in carnitas, red salsa and cheese alongside guacamole. A Double Protein bowl doubles on protein with full portions of both steak and chicken.

But don’t just take Chipotle’s word for it; Whole30 cofounder Melissa Hartwig Urban had this to say about the new menu items:

“We are always looking for ways to make the Whole30 easier and more accessible, and travel has always been a pain point. It’s not always easy to find compliant options on the road, so I was thrilled to work with Chipotle to create a tasty, satisfying salad bowl that meets our program guidelines.”
