HTC has started pushing out Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates for its Desire Eye, One (E8), and One (M8 Eye) smartphones. The HTC Desire Eye users (via HTC Blog Italia) in Europe as well as users on AT&T will start receiving the over-the-air (OTA) update next week. The HTC One (E8) is currently only receiving the OTA Marshmallow update in China. The HTC One (M8 Eye) users in Europe and China are reporting about the new update for the handset. Facebook’s standalone Messenger app is finally receiving a Material Design makeover. The news was confirmed by Messenger’s Lead David Marcus in Facebook and Twitter posts. Mobile security firm Skycure has claimed that a new Android malware can allow malicious apps to access all text-based data on a device without requiring permission from the user. The research firm has further claimed that the latest Android malware family dubbed “Accessibility Clickjacking” impacts almost all Android versions except the last two versions – Android 5.0 Lollipop and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
