Today, Google has confirmed that it will be hosting its I/O event this year live from the Shoreline Amphitheater. The event will mostly take place online, with some of it likely to be livestreamed from the venue. The report in the journal Cancer Cell is based on lab experiments on lung cells that were exposed to chronic cigarette smoke – the equivalent of a person smoking for 20 to 30 years.
